Investigation of Life comes to a close

Hi HIS, Inc. Friends!

We are winding down our year of Investigation of Life with a focus on Fish this month and with one final event December 7th. These events have been a great pleasure and encouragement for me and my family as I hope they have for you. We look forward to what the next year brings! I also look forward to introducing you to our new arrival, Amos Timothy, who was born 8 days ago 🙂

Please take some time to reflect on what you have learned and experienced with us over the past six months. From rough-skinned newts to rainbow trout, we have taken a wide survey of living organisms in a relatively short period of time. We would love to hear which trips were highlights for your children and which learning experiences were most helpful to you as homeschooling parents.

dove-coveDecember for us will be spent finalizing our 2013 Calendar which will include our first ever Palouse Area Homeschool Conference later this winter!

If you have not read up on our first-ever Secondary Science Event to be offered (students 12 and older) please follow the link to Dec. 7 on our web calendar. This is a do-not-miss event for your children!  Carpooling can be arranged and several of HIS, Inc’s Directors will be present at this event as well.

We look forward to hearing from you and will keep you up-to-date with the latest developments here at the Homeschool Institute of Science!

Blessings to you and yours,

Will
