Join us as we spend the morning with the Latah Soil & Water Conservation District staff. We will be learning first hand about the recent effort to reconnect several miles of stream above an old non-functional dam near Troy, Idaho.
Register here for children under 12 years (9:00-12:00).
Full day class (for ages 12+)
Join us as we spend the day with the Latah Soil & Water Conservation District staff. These on the ground stewards restore watersheds and native ecosystems.
They will be taking us to several sites in the county, will be sharing the science behind their work, and will provide us with an opportunity to contribute to this restoration effort. Register here for ages 12+ (9:00-4:00).
Location: both groups meet at the City of Troy Park (Hwy 8 as you enter Troy from Moscow across from the Sunset Mart gas station).
Please provide lunch and water for your children. You may join them or drop them off. Dress for field work.
As with all of our events you will need to register and pay online or contact us directly at will@homeschoolscience.org to pay with cash or check.
