This Morning in Creation

5.27.19
Spring ephemeral pond

A walk across town to a small pond. This morning in creation people were jogging, early birds were heading to work, and still waters continued to reflect and refract the soft May light. My two year old helped her brothers salt a slug and then referred to it as “meat.” Today’s audio features a bit on cataloging the signs of the seasons.

And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, 1and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so.
